At LocalScript, privacy is not just a feature — it is our core foundation. LocalScript is designed from the ground up to operate 100% on your device without transmitting any audio recordings, transcriptions, or personal data to remote cloud servers.

1. Zero Data Collection

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your data. Specifically:

No Audio Uploads: All voice recording and transcription process occurs entirely on your device using Apple Metal GPU acceleration and local AI models.
No Transcripts Storage: Your transcribed notes, section headers, and folder structures reside exclusively on your device's local encrypted storage.
No Analytics or Telemetry: We do not track your usage, app launches, or interactions. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
No Account Required: You can use LocalScript without signing up, providing an email, or creating an account.

2. Biometric Security & Vault

If you choose to use the Secure Vault feature, authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or PIN) is handled natively by Apple iOS / macOS system frameworks (LocalAuthentication). LocalScript does not have access to your biometric data or master passcode.

LocalScript utilizes hardware-level protection to prevent unauthorized screen captures or screen recordings of your secure vault content. This protection runs locally on your device hardware.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Purchases for LocalScript Pro Lifetime are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit and the App Store. Apple handles all payment details. We do not receive or store your credit card or payment billing details.
